YOUR NEXT MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN JOB As Maintenance Electrician your job will be to ensure the manufacturing site's production equipment is in good working order and properly maintained by engaging in a maintenance & reliability program focused on preventative and predictive maintenance Day to day some of the key elements of the Electrical Maintenance job will include: Maintenance of production process equipment, to include breakdown repairs, preventative/predictive maintenance and ongoing day-to-day troubleshooting and technical interventions. Continuous improvement of production process equipment, by identifying and implementing improvement projects that will improve the operating effectiveness of equipment. Maintenance of buildings and utilities systems and equipment as required. Completion of equipment and maintenance logs. WHY YOU SHOULD APPLY FOR THIS MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN JOB This role pays a salary of 55k plus 15% evening shift allowance plus a bonus structure, pension and discounted healthcare. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU You will have an electrical maintenance background and hold a recognised electrical trade certification. You will have prior experience of working in the food manufacturing industry and experience of form & fill seal machines would be important for this role You'll also have prior experience of electro-mechanical repairs to a PLC controlled manufacturing plant, handling & packing equipment, along with pneumatic control systems. A background in PLC & HMI programming, along with electrical & pneumatic panel building would be an advantage for the electrical maintenance tech role but is not essential This is a rotating shift role with week one covering 7.15am-3.15pm and week two 3pm-11.30pm Mon-Thurs and 3pm-10pm Fri.
