Job Description: Maintenance Electrician Location: Limerick Position: Permanent Swing shift: Week 1 =7am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 2pm on a Friday Week 2 =3pm to 11pm Mon to Thursday and 3pm to 9pm on a Friday Role Overview: The Maintenance Electrician will handle preventative maintenance, respond to emergency machine breakdowns, and oversee the installation and relocation of equipment. The role includes ensuring all machinery is safe, efficient, and fit for purpose, along with overseeing new equipment installation. Key Responsibilities: Electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault-finding Implement preventative maintenance programs Install, commission, and troubleshoot plant equipment Ensure machinery safety and functionality Minimise downtime with fast, effective responses and root cause analysis Promote and adhere to safe working practices Work with external contractors and manage repairs Provide support for plant facilities, including compressed air and boilers Assist with new equipment installations and modifications Keep records of spare parts and maintenance activities Qualifications & Experience: Completed electrical apprenticeship with at least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, steam, and pneumatics is an advantage Please contact me for a confidential discussion or to discuss further.
