Maintenance Electrician sought by Manufacturing Client in Limerick for rotating days/evenings role. Key responsibilities include preventative maintenance, emergency response, equipment installation, and automation design. Essential skills include electrical maintenance, process control, troubleshooting, and fault finding. The ideal candidate will have a recognized electrical apprenticeship, 5+ years of experience in a high-volume production facility, and knowledge of PLC programming, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Other important skills include reading and interpreting electrical and hydraulic drawings, and experience working with mechanical systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required. The successful candidate will contribute to the efficiency of the operation by maximizing uptime of machinery and minimizing downtime in production and utility areas.
