Experienced Maintenance Engineer sought for a challenging role in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Vickerstock is working in conjunction with one of Ireland's fastest growing food manufacturing firms to fill a Maintenance Engineer position at their site in Cavan. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Actioning scheduled engineering maintenance works, including diagnostic fault analysis.
- Maximizing the utilization of site assets while minimizing costs, in conjunction with Engineering Management and Production Manager.
- Driving the site's Net Zero Energy efforts by reducing energy usage.
- Maintaining the upkeep of assets and fabric of the site.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience servicing and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience working in a high-volume production environment with automated machinery.
- IEEE or equivalent qualification.
- Mechanical fault finding, maintenance, and installation.
- Preventive maintenance on motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, rollers, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
- Adjusting and calibrating equipment and machinery to optimal specifications.
