Job Description
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of site systems.
Our client company, based in County Monaghan, is a leading player in the Food Manufacturing sector.
Maintenance Engineer
- Deliver PPM & reactive troubleshooting
- Responsible for all site mechanical systems and ensuring they are fully operational, maintained and repaired accordingly
- Analyse the testing and inspection data and report any issues to the Engineer Manager
- Ability to use engineering tools that are required
- Attend sites to carry out and resolve any maintenance issues to the industrial equipment that is being used
- Work on refrigeration, plumbing and all breakdowns is carried out in a safe and tidy manner
- Adhere to daily & weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site
- Ensure all work carried out is done so within the H&S requirements
- Keep the downtime on all machines to a minimum as best as possible
- Monitor stock levels and provide accurate information on regular progress updates
Requirements
- 3+ years experience carrying out Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Repairs
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in food industry
- Ability to fault find
- Experience and understanding within Pneumatics and Hydraulics
- Tig/arch welding, machinery and plant repair experience an advantage but not essential
- Ability to manage time and exceed deadlines
- Knowledge and understanding within food manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication
