Job Opportunity for Maintenance Engineer - County Monaghan, Ireland
Our client company, based in County Monaghan, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in the food manufacturing sector.
Maintenance Engineer Role
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Repairs, with a strong background in troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Predictive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive troubleshooting
- Responsible for all site mechanical systems and ensuring they are fully operational, maintained and repaired accordingly
- Analyse testing and inspection data and report any issues to the Engineer Manager
- Attend sites to resolve maintenance issues and work on refrigeration, plumbing and breakdowns in a safe and tidy manner
- Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site
- Monitor stock levels and provide accurate information on regular progress updates
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years experience in Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Repairs
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
- Ability to fault find and troubleshoot
- Understanding within Pneumatics and Hydraulics
- Experience with Tig/arch welding, machinery and plant repair an advantage
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
