Job Description

As a maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of plant and equipment, managing maintenance contracts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.

Position Details

• Maintain machinery, plant, equipment, utilities, facilities & services to required operating standards, ensuring that the validated state of GMP equipment is maintained. • Perform installation, emergency, corrective & preventive maintenance of equipment. • Perform routine PMs and related paperwork according to timelines & ensure that maintenance records are up-to-date. • Coordinate and manage maintenance contractors/equipment vendors on site, issuing and control of permits to work. • Review their reports and records. • Troubleshoot issues with Operations, Quality & TSA, providing engineering expertise to find solutions promptly. • Perform duties in a compliant manner & in accordance with all site standards & guidelines & relevant legal requirements. • Work closely with project teams to assist in the specification, installation, commissioning & testing of new or recommissioned equipment/plant/utilities. • Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) to ensure adherence to user requirements specifications & associated requirements. • Own or provide engineering input to deviations, CAPAs & change controls. • Manage supplies & spare parts. • Participate in projects to improve system efficiency. • Assist in developing & implementing line/process improvements to achieve required Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). • Provide 'On Call' support for emergencies. • Escalate issues with equipment or its management. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Education & Experience

• Technical/Trade qualifications in a mechanical or electrical discipline. • 10 years+ of industry experience in maintenance of chemical, HVAC/mechanical systems, pneumatic & hydraulic system, electrical power systems, control systems, building management systems with at least 3+ years of maintenance within a GMP environment. • Experience in maintaining utilities, facilities & production/process equipment.
