Evergreen biologics company seeks skilled Maintenance Engineer in west of Ireland to oversee equipment operation and maintenance.
A Maintenance Engineer at our global biologics company in Ireland will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of plant equipment, utilities, and machinery to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise and ability to work independently and collaboratively with the team to achieve continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and self-development.
- Ensure maintenance of machinery, equipment, and utilities to required standards, ensuring GMP compliance.
- Perform installation, emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance with or without supervision.
- Complete planned maintenance tasks, update paperwork, and CMMS as scheduled.
- Manage contractors and vendors on site, issue permits, and review reports.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and TSA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct breakdown and root cause analysis.
- Assist project teams with specifying, installing, and commissioning equipment.
Requirements for the role include:
- Technical qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
- 10+ years of experience in maintaining chemical, HVAC/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, control, and building management systems.
- 3+ years of experience in a GMP environment.
- Experience in maintaining utilities, facilities, and production/process equipment.
