Job Description
Maintenance Engineer required for our Ireland - Sligo site. Maintain machinery, plant, equipment, utilities, facilities & services to required operating standards, ensuring validated state of GMP equipment is maintained. Perform routine PMs, troubleshoot issues, and manage maintenance contractors. Manage supplies, spare parts, and participate in projects to improve system. Provide engineering expertise and support Operations, Quality & TSA. Strong technical aptitude, team player, and proactive attitude required. 10+ years of industry experience in maintenance of chemical, HVAC/mechanical systems, pneumatic & hydraulic system, electrical power systems, control systems, building management systems with at least 3+ years of maintenance within a GMP environment. Technical/Trade qualifications in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
Perform installation, emergency, corrective & preventive maintenance of equipment.
Coordinate and manage maintenance contractors/equipment vendors on site, issue and control of permits to work. Review their reports and records.
Troubleshoot issues with Operations, Quality & TSA, providing engineering expertise to find solutions promptly.
Attend FATs to ensure adherence to user requirements specifications & associated requirements.
Own or provide engineering input to deviations, CAPAs & change controls.
Manage supplies & spare parts.
Participate in projects to improve system.
Assist in developing & implementing line/process improvements to achieve required OEE.
Strong technical aptitude, team player, and proactive attitude required.
10+ years of industry experience in maintenance of chemical, HVAC/mechanical systems, pneumatic & hydraulic system, electrical power systems, control systems, building management systems with at least 3+ years of maintenance within a GMP environment.
Technical/Trade qualifications in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
Experience with utilities (black and clean utilities).
Equipment validation experience.
Experience with AutoCAD and ability to read & interpret technical drawings & specifications.
Time management - ability to prioritize & deliver quality output to strict deadlines.
Willingness to take on ad hoc duties & support team.<
Adaptable and flexible, willing to travel when needed.
