```html Our client is an engineering one stop subcontractor of fabricated weld assemblies, treated assemblies, machined components and assemblies supplied primarily to OEMs, who are currently recruiting for a maintenance engineer for their site based in Co.Cavan. The Role Technically oriented and customer driven, you will initially be responsible for clearing our tendering backlog, providing clear guidelines, tasks, and milestones whilst delivering a positive experience to our customers. As time progresses, you will progress into account management of our existing customer base and ultimately into lead generation to target potential new customers. Engineering knowledge to formulate timely competitive bids/estimates/quotations is essential, although internal training will be provided. You will work closely with our Engineering and Operations departments to deliver a team approach to customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small team in a company which is in the process of expanding to a new greenfield 50,000 square foot facility that will accommodate immediate growth and expansion. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to review tender documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements and specifications. Formulate competitive bids/estimates/quotations, taking into account in-house process expertise. Proactively go to the market to locate and source new quality and cost-focused suppliers. Ensure tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the tendering process. Communicate with Engineering and Production outlining any non-standard Jigging and Fixtures which may be necessary. Build and sustain regular account management relationships with key customers. Work as part of a collaborative internal team with ownership & responsibility for customer base. Identify sales opportunities for revenue growth and generate new sales leads when appropriate. Ensure customer database information is relevant and up-to-date. The Person A relevant technical qualification (Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing), or extended experience in a similar role is required. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a relative Engineering discipline. A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills essential. Knowledge of MS suite, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Prior Knowledge of Welding / Fabrication and CNC Machining is a distinct advantage. Intermediate knowledge of SolidWorks is an advantage.
