Job Description
Reliable Maintenance Fitter sought for County Cork role to maintain process and plant equipment, ensuring optimal plant performance and adherence to health and safety standards.
As a key member of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining highest standards of health and safety, regulatory and GMP/hygiene standards.
- Integrating with the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations.
- Delivering a reliable-centred maintenance function with best practices, including preventative maintenance.
- Daily reporting of maintenance activities.
- Updating and utilising the PEMAC system (CMMS) including spare parts used.
- Contributing to problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Trouble shooting and fault finding.
Requirements:
- Qualified Maintenance Fitter.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a maintenance fitter, ideally in a food/highly-regulated environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Experience of preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience with PEMAC or other CMMS.
- Flexible attitude.
- Willing to work shift.
- Keen to learn and develop.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ATEX regulations is an advantage.
