Job Description
Seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a leading Food Manufacturing client in County Wexford, with experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and project management.
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and executing maintenance tasks, ensuring all necessary spares are available and external vendors are organized.
- Performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production lines and plant equipment.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to production processes and equipment, increasing operating effectiveness.
- Leading projects and supervising plant upgrades and customer projects.
- Assisting in training machine operators on machine setup, fault correction, and adjustments.
Requirements:
- Trades-qualified mechanical with electrical knowledge.
- Experience in a maintenance environment with excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask and respond quickly in a fast-paced production environment.
- Flexibility with shift patterns, including line downtime and out-of-hours work.
