Maintenance Fitter Co Wexford Fulltime/Permanent Monday - Friday Day Shift Attractive Package Vickerstock are working in partnership with our specialist FMCG global manufacturing client who are on the search for a Maintenance Fitter to join the well-established team at their state-of-the-art factory in County Wexford. As a Maintenance Fitter you will be responsible for Preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of production lines and plant equipment. Continuous improvement of production processes equipment, by identifying and implementing improvement projects to improve the operating effectiveness of equipment. Familiar with all relevant SOPs, equipment validation and controls for the operation and safe running of lines. Maintenance planning: plan the scope of work required, ensure all spares are in stock and available, organise external vendors. Assist with training of machine operators on machine set up, fault correction, adjustment, etc. Be observant & work off your own initiative when a fault is detected & to take action based on your best judgment on whether to effect immediate repair or not Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies Criteria Qualified Mechanical Fitter with Electrical knowledge Experience within a factory maintenance environment Excellent troubleshooting skills Working hours will be Monday - Friday day shift hours (hours will be discussed at interview/start date) but flexibility is required.
