Summary: Experienced Maintenance Manager sought for a leading international food company in Dublin, responsible for leading a high-performance maintenance team and implementing high-standard maintenance processes.
Vickerstock is working with an international food company to recruit a Maintenance Manager for their site in Dublin. Our client has some of the biggest and best known brands within the food sector across Europe.
As a Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performance maintenance team and implementing high-standard maintenance processes within a highly automated 24/7 distribution facility. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing a high-performance maintenance team
- Developing and managing the annual budget for the maintenance department
- Ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures, and health and safety practices
- Managing a team of 5 maintenance technicians
- Organizing training and coaching for the maintenance staff
- Managing external contractors to ensure maintenance repairs and projects are completed on target and within budget
- Reviewing daily shift reports and ensuring any outstanding issues are addressed
- Organizing calibration for temperature probes and ensuring temperature certificates are reviewed and maintained
Key requirements for the role include:
- Qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering discipline
- 5 years recent and relevant experience of leading and managing a maintenance department within a manufacturing environment
- Good working knowledge of SAP
- Ability to troubleshoot system issues at a high level
- Good understanding of Siemens PLC step7 programs
