Job Description
A Maintenance Support Technician is required to work with a Galway based manufacturing company. Key responsibilities:
- Carry out preventative maintenance and calibrations as per work instructions
- Upkeep of services sitewide (Heat, Water, Gas, Elec, Air con, compressed air)
- Provide support for new equipment installation, tasks to include Design/specification/Removal of old equipment/services installation and installation/commissioning
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Support in the maintenance and repair of plumbing, carpentry etc.
- Third level technical qualification or trade qualification
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision
- Broad grasp of general facility repair and maintenance duties
- Skills in Mechanical Systems, blueprint reading, precision measurement, hand and power tools, and technical drawings
