Job Description
A Maintenance Team Lead-General Operative is required to oversee maintenance works across multiple residential and commercial blocks, ensuring compliance with company standards and delivering an effective and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitting and repairing household appliances
- Communicating with the Group Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Team
- Identifying and reporting preventative maintenance issues
- Carrying out cutting, welding, and assembling of fittings and fixtures
- Responding to and attending building-related safety concerns
- Maintaining compliance with company building and maintenance standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving utilities systems issues
- Assisting in specifying proper supplies and equipment
- Preparing cost estimates
- Responding to emergency situations
- Providing leadership and line management to the team
- Developing the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements
Requirements:
- Carpentry maintenance and industrial or commercial experience
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent attention to detail
