Job Description
Seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining and safely upkeeping various properties, completing repair orders and ensuring property and equipment are maintained in a safe manner.

Maintenance Technician

- Complete repair orders for general repairs as requested
- Notify management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment
- Perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment
- Assigns with proper training and direction completion of preventative maintenance work or repairs
- Complete all necessary reporting and documentation as required
- Ensure property and equipment are maintained in a safe manner, and that all repairs are made as specified by manufacturer
- Comply with company's safety / security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently
- Participate in a rotational on call system
Requirements
- Knowledge of material and techniques are essential
- 1 Year's previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational skills / self-motivated / self-starter
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Willingness to work as part of a multi-departmental team
- Willingness to learn
- Dedicated, reliability and flexible approach to work
