Maintenance Technician Job In Cork

Skilled Maintenance Technician sought to support production team at Cork City facility.

This is a permanent position reporting to the Operations Director, where you will play a key role in supporting the company's maintenance strategy and providing essential maintenance services to the production team.

The facility operates on a single-shift basis, but this schedule may change based on production demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute planned preventive maintenance schedules in line with production needs.
• Collaborate with the production team to maximise factory readiness and efficiency, including start-ups, product changes, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Conduct follow-up analysis to identify and resolve recurring downtime issues and machine inefficiencies.
• Apply technical expertise to address factory process challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and controlled environment for all maintenance operations, adhering to Quality Management System requirements and regulatory standards.
• Support the maintenance team on additional projects as directed by the Operations Director.

Requirements:

• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting, fault-finding, and root cause analysis.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Technically oriented with solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in maintaining the highest quality standards within the manufacturing sector is preferred.
