Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Cork Salary: €50,000 - €60,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: Maintenance Technician in Cork! About Our Client: Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Cork, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting machinery and equipment to ensure seamless production operations and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment failures and improve reliability. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals and ensure equipment is performing efficiently. Maintain accurate maintenance records, including reports of repairs, preventive tasks, and inspections. Participate in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance equipment performance. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions to restore production operations. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to safety and adherence to regulatory standards. Experience in continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
