Job description Job description North-Link M1 Ltd is currently recruiting for a second Maintenance Technician to join the team! Northlink are the contractors to CRG to operate and manage the M1 Toll Plaza and motorway from Junction 7, Julianstown to Junction 18, Dundalk. You will be comfortable working with low voltage electricity, IT systems and both software and hardware. This person will be a team player and capable to work using their own initiative with direction. Main Duties & Responsibilities: Preventative & Corrective Maintenance for the Tolling equipment, Administration Building and Maintenance Depot in Dunleer. Maintenance of Electrical and Mechanical systems at the Toll Plaza. Work with Engineers and suppliers to identify and solve problems and to improve the reliability of the tolling system. Ensure Quality Environmental, Health and Safety compliance. Liasing with contractors, facilitating on-site visits and ensuring compliance with RAMS Support the management team in delivery of the Operations and Maintenance agreement. Assist with budget and expenditure reports. Manage and undertake improvement works on the tolling plaza and tolling system. Other maintenance activities as directed. Person Specification: Essential to the Role Qualifications/Education/Training Full or Part Qualified Electrical Qualification. Safe Pass. An additional qualification or experience with IT/Software design & Maintenance/Operating Systems would be advantageous. Experience/Knowledge Relevant technical maintenance experience. Ability to read electronic circuit diagrams. Knowledge base in Information Technology including but not limited to PC, Computer Network and Network infrastructures. Experience in implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures. Skills/Abilities Ability to plan, organise and supervise planned/preventative maintenance programmes. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Computer literacy Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook. Good communication skills: verbal/written (in English). Good problem-solving skills. Personal Attributes Self-motivated and enthusiastic Strong interpersonal skills Adaptable and flexible with a willingness to work irregular hours Additional Requirements Full Clean Drivers Licence essential Class B Own transport (for on-call requirement) Willingness to: Provide out of hours on-call support on a rostered basis Work outdoors and in adverse weather conditions Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Work Location: In person
