They are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of advanced manufacturing equipment, contributing to the production of life-changing medical technologies. Reporting to: Facilities & Maintenance Manager Job Purpose: To ensure that equipment in the factory is maintained to the best possible standards with regard to safety, recommended and scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Role Responsibilities: Carry out machine maintenance in accordance with machine maintenance schedules. Carry out preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner and to the correct standards. Installation of and moving of machines and equipment when necessary. Mechanical and electrical maintenance of all areas of the company. Dryer and compressor maintenance of all areas of the company. Emergency maintenance due to machine break down. Identification, ordering (through Purchasing Dept) and fitting of spare parts. Maintain a stock of critical machine and business spare parts. Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs. Experience: Qualification in electrical, mechanical or automation, or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience of documentation and maintenance systems. Good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks. Must be able to work independently and within teams. Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
