Job Description
Experienced Maintenance Technician sought for plastics manufacturing company in West Limerick. Permanent contract with 4-cycle shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues in a safe environment, adhering to safety procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to root cause and problem solve issues.
- Assist with introduction and validation of new tooling as required.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Day-to-day maintenance of production lines in a busy environment.
- Troubleshoot processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment problems.
- Set process parameters to ensure product meets dimensional and quality requirements.
- Ensure compliance to all related procedures, policies, and work instructions.
- Support new tool design and development.
- Implement preventative maintenance approach to machines and auxiliary equipment.
Requirements:
- Mechanical, Automation, Maintenance or Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent.
- Good general knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Experience in factory/manufacturing environment an advantage.
