Job Description
Experienced Maintenance Technician sought for plastics manufacturing company in West Limerick, Ireland, to work on-site in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues in a safe environment adhering to safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with root cause and problem solving of issues with engineering teams.
- Introduce and validate new tooling as required.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance of production lines.
- Troubleshoot processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment problems.
- Set process parameters to ensure product quality and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance to all related procedures, policies, and work instructions.
- Support new tool design and development.
- Implement preventative maintenance approach to machines and auxiliary equipment.
Requirements:
- Mechanical, Automation, Maintenance or Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent.
- Good general knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Experience in factory/manufacturing environment an advantage.
