Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Granard Longford Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call cover Salary: Competitive, based on experience Our client has an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join their maintenance team in Granard Longford. Your core skill may be either mechanical or electrical, as the client is looking for cross-skilled technician who thrives in an automated production environment. If you're flexible, proactive, and have a knack for problem-solving, this is the perfect role for you! Key Responsibilities: Maintain and service production equipment through planned preventative maintenance, predictive tasks, and equipment surveys. Diagnose & repair electro-mechanical issues on high-speed, PLC-controlled production lines. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure quick resolution of breakdowns. Support the production team to achieve operational targets and reduce downtime. Review and refine PPM procedures to enhance maintenance quality and efficiency. Handle pneumatic and hydraulic systems and complete mechanical and control systems repairs. What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment post-apprenticeship. Strong mechanical or electrical machine maintenance background gained in a Manufacturing envirnoment. Proven experience with preventative maintenance and equipment troubleshooting. Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility for occasional call-outs and overtime. Why Join Us?
