White & Clayton are seeking a Maintenance Tech for one of our leading FMCG clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the below key duties and responsibilities: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2.30pm Key Responsibilities Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on production machinery and equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation systems to minimize downtime Carry out scheduled inspections and maintenance of facilities and production lines Work closely with production teams to identify potential issues and recommend improvements Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures in all maintenance activities Collaborate with contractors and external service providers when needed Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades Qualifications Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems (PLC, HVAC, etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Knowledge of health and safety regulations Relevant certifications or qualifications in maintenance engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds) Skills & Competencies Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Strong attention to detail and proactive in identifying potential issues Ability to work independently and within a team Good communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively If you feel you are a good fit for this role then please apply.
