Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician (Utilities), you will perform daily operations, maintenance and repairs on utilities, HVAC & building systems, monitor equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate workflow. You will work collaboratively within a team, manage responsibilities independently, and have a good understanding of utility systems and manufacturing equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing daily operations, maintenance and repairs on utilities, WFI, clean steam, bulk gases, bulk chemicals, process water generation, boilers, chillers, chemical dosing systems, cooling towers, air compressors, LPHW skids, waste water treatment, biowaste inactivation skids or other mechanical equipment in a cGMP environment.
- Monitoring and interpreting readings on equipment, computer terminals/HMIs, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, safety devices and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions.
- Troubleshooting and problem solving any operational & maintenance issues.
- Coordinating and supervising vendor maintenance activities.
- Ensuring safe and efficient hands-on maintenance with strict adherence to SOP's, cGMP's, and quality standards.
- Ensuring a safe work environment is maintained by adherence to Safety Systems such as COHE/LOTO, Permit to Work, Method Statements / Risk Assessments.
Requirements include:
- A qualification to National Craft Standard.
- A minimum of 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
