Position: Maintenance/Service Technician Location: Co. Louth Salary:€50,000 - €60,000 Exciting Opportunity: Maintenance Technician in County Louth! About Our Client: Our client, a leading manufacturing company based in County Louth, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting machinery and equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production machinery and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and improve reliability. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and minimal disruption. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment efficiency and reduce downtime. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and implement corrective actions. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
