Management Accountant A highly skilled Management Accountant is required to support the Finance Senior Manager in the proper budgeting, management, and control of all management accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting and experience in a manufacturing environment. **Job Description** * Manage the timely preparation and issuance of performance reports to the Senior Manager, Finance, including: + Monthly management accounts + Annual budget and rolling forecasts + Departmental and company KPIs + Updating the Balanced Score Card (BSC) * Manage product standard costs using an Activity Based Costing system and develop internal costing systems to analyze contribution margin analysis and provide accurate information to company management of CoGs. * Manage CoGs variances, including material usage variance, purchase price variance, and overhead absorption variance, and prepare quarterly updates for presentation and discussion with the site Operations team. * Provide assistance with year-end financial statements and agree consolidated figures with group companies, liaising as needed with the Group Head Office and external auditors. * Provide timely and accurate management information for decision-making, relating to costing and pricing for commercial products and services. * Review administrative systems and methods to improve productivity and efficiency while maintaining high standards of compliance to internationally accepted and corporate financial standards. * Liaise with and assist the Group Finance function as required to ensure orderly and compliant corporate financial management. * Deputise for the Senior Manager, Finance where necessary. * Perform other duties or projects as defined from time to time. **Requirements** * Qualified Management Accountant with 5 years' post-qualified experience * Applied management accounting experience within a manufacturing environment * Skilled in accounting for manufacturing and analysis of manufacturing (CoGs) variant analysis * Skilled in Activity Based Costings * Experience in managing month-end close * Excellent business acumen, including report writing, presentations, verbal and non-verbal communication, and project management **Key Skills** * Variance analysis * Standard costing * Activity-Based Costing * Accounting management * Cost accounting * Manufacturing accounting * CoG **Company Benefits** * Flexitime * Work from home * Health insurance * Pension scheme * Performance bonus * Car parking * Subsidized canteen
