Management Accountant, FMCG, North Dublin

Our client is a well-established and growing organisation operating within the food sector for over 40 years. A new and exciting opportunity now exists to join their finance team as a Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, role will be responsible for review, analysis and implementation of product costings. A collaborative role, responsible for engaging with internal departments across the business from New Product Development to Production, Procurement and Sales.
Role Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the preparation of weekly KPIs
- Assist with the management of budgets and forecasts
- Assist the Financial Controller with the with month end process
- Manage new costings and maintain all existing costings for any changes
- Product margin analysis and reporting by customer/category
- Assist with year-end audit
- Ad hoc financial work as required by the needs of the business
- Ongoing development and review of internal controls and processes
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified or Part Qualified (ACCA / ACA)
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience, ideally within manufacturing
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and to multi-task and prioritize
- Very strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience implementing an ERP system would be a distinct advantage
