Join our team of 4,400 professionals in 50 countries and contribute to ending extreme poverty. We're looking for a Management Accountant to provide support to our Finance department in Dublin. With a salary of €54,500 - €62,286, this one-year fixed term contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a values-driven and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and distribution of monthly intercompany schedules to overseas fields and provide related support
- Providing management accounting services including the preparation of monthly management accounts, annual budget preparation, budget revisions and statutory reporting functions
- Providing comprehensive, high quality analysis to aid and support business decision makers
- Complete monthly reconciliations and analysis of specific Balance Sheet accounts including Debtors and Creditors
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register and related statutory reporting
- Managing annual VAT reclaim with the Revenue Commissioners
- Contribute in the review of finance processes to drive system optimisation and process improvement
- Managing the income integration from the Concern Overseas Grant Management System to the finance system
- Providing support during the annual audit to tight deadlines
- Supporting Finance Manager and wider finance team in general financial management
Requirements:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in a commercial environment
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Experience of month end close, functional reporting and preparation of statutory accounts and/or branch reporting experience
- Experience in annual budget preparation and budget revisions
- Excellent organisation skills: ability to plan and organise work so that it is efficient and effective
- Good Microsoft Office Skills; with strong word and excel skills
- Clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong business relationships
- Flexible and adaptable to change
