Job Description

My client, a healthcare focused charity based in Dublin City is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity with great potential for an enthusiastic, qualified accountant to work in a sector seeking to make an impact on health and well-being. This role offers a hybrid work model. Responsibilities: Ensure books and records are maintained accurately Provide full oversight of regular book-keeping tasks including payroll, tax, payments etc. Preparation of monthly management accounts and reconciliations Preparation of annual budgets and ongoing forecasts Work with Fundraising staff to discuss management of budgets and financial information Perform forecasts for income, working capital and future cash flow needs Preparation of year-end financial statements (SORP) and liaising with external auditors Preparation of ad-hoc financial reports as required by Management and Board Prepare, update, and monitor compliance of internal financial policies & procedures in line with auditor recommendations and best practice for charities Attend and participate at Finance Committee meetings Carry out ad-hoc assignments as determined by the Head of Finance Line Manager of Finance Assistant Requirements: A Qualified Accountant with 2+ years PQE Experience with Sage a strong advantage Team management and charity sector experience beneficial If this opportunity is of interest, please contact Andrew Adamson at the enclosed address.
