Job Description

Exciting opportunities to join our Finance team within Infrastructure Management (IM) Department Position: Management Accountant for the Chief Civil Engineers (CCE) business area within the Infrastructure Managers Department (IM). Location: Based in Inchicore, Dublin 8. (Hybrid working arrangements applicable, as per I Remote Working policy). Salary: 83k up to 86k per annum (Commensurate with suitable Qualifications & Experience) Contract Hours: 36-hour per week. Contract Duration: Fixed Term contract initially leading to permanency. Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 days per annum, rising to 28 based on service. *Additional Entitlements: Pension, Welfare Scheme, Income Protection, Further Education Assistance, Talent Development Programmes and much more. The Infrastructure Managers Department (IM) is made up of Engineering, Track /Access/Operations and support functions. The teams are Civil Engineering, Signal, Electrical & Telecommunications Engineering, and Infrastructure Operations. The successful candidate will become part of the IM Finance team which aligns to that structure. The CCE Management Accountant will report to the Finance Manager CCE and will be responsible for assisting in managing the financial control requirements of the CCE Business within the IM Department covering budgetary control, financial planning, forecast management, periodic reporting and capital projects analysis Essential Requirements: Candidate must hold a Professional Accounting Qualification with a minimum of 7 years PQE. Proven IT Skills & Knowledge specifically Excel & SAP (FI/CO,MM) Ability to work to strict timelines and strong delivery/execution focus Demonstrated ability in the preparation of high quality timely and consistent financial reports for internal and external use The ability to lead, take ownership of projects and problem-solve independently.
