The Company:Our client is a well-established food production business, with over 30 years of experience in the industry. They boast a dedicated and experienced team that has achieved success in both domestic and European markets. Located in a new state-of-the-art facility in West Dublin.The Role:As the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making. This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within the food manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) with supporting documentation.Prepare quarterly sectoral P&L accounts.Provide general cost and financial accounting support.Process payroll.Assist AP function in capturing costs and maintaining PO book.Prepare and submit VAT, VIES, and Intrastat reports.Complete CRO surveys.Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports.Assist with monthly/annual stock takes.Support year-end process and annual audit.Support Finance Manager and provide team cover as needed.Undertake other duties as assigned within the scope of the Management Accountant role.The Person:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA) preferred.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in management accounting, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory management.Proficient in financial analysis and reporting.Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide actionable insights.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.Benefits:Salary of €55,000 - €60,000 (DOE)€800 bonus per annum payable €400 in December and €400 in June.
