Reporting primarily to the Group CFO and Group FC, the Group Accountant will play a pivotal role in the management of the Finance and Accounting functions of the group. The successful candidate will be working closely with a highly regarded senior leadership team to support with scaling up the business further. This client is looking for someone enthusiastic with a hands-on approach to get stuck into a high-growth business. The key responsibilities will include: Overseeing the month-end financial close process for group entities and consolidation. Managing the working capital and leading the Treasury function, including handling shares, derivatives, bonds, and CFDs. Assisting with year-end financial audit and liaison with external auditors. Delivering FP&A for the Group, including profitability analysis and KPI reporting. Reviewing monthly accounts, performance pack of subsidiaries, and general ledger reconciliations. Engaging in ad hoc projects and various FP&A processes. Conducting ad-hoc analyses and financial reporting as required. Assisting with reporting system implementation. Requirements: Qualified accountant or Finalist. Excellent technical accounting skills. A keen aptitude for learning, a drive to progress, and a willingness to assume responsibility. Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with senior management. Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
