Job Description

**Job Summary** Manage cost accounting, manufacturing analysis, and financial reporting for a life sciences/medical device business, working closely with the FC and subsidiary teams. The employer is a blue-chip life sciences/medical device business. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage product standard costs using a Standard Costing system and develop internal costing systems to analyze contribution margin * Provide accurate information to company management on Co Gs/Pricing * Manage Co Gs variances (Material usage variance, purchase price variance, overhead absorption variance) and prepare quarterly updates for presentation to the site Operations team * Oversee Accounts Payable for multiple Group entities * Assist in the preparation of customer invoices and monthly finance close process * Liaise with external Auditors, Bank, Payroll, and Government authorities * Prepare audit files for external auditors **Requirements** * Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) * At least 1-2 years PQE, working in a similar position in a multi-national with cost accounting experience, preferably in Life Sciences or Pharmaceuticals * Good working knowledge of ERP accounting packages with an exposure to process improvement projects * Skills in Cost Accounting, Management Reporting, and Monthly Financial Accounting
