We are seeking a Manager to lead operational due diligence reviews and identify risks associated with the appointment of Administrators and Depositaries, with a strong focus on commercial opportunities and development points. **Job Description** We are an independent governance and advisory firm established by investment professionals to provide tailored solutions and advisory services to asset managers, fund directors, and their service providers. As a Manager on the Administrator & Depositary Due Diligence team, you will be responsible for: • Lead operational due diligence reviews covering a variety of fund types across multiple jurisdictions. • Identify risks associated with the appointment of the Administrator and Depositary and propose mitigating actions. • Produce and present clear, concise due diligence reports in line with market standards and requirements laid out by the regulator(s). • Build rapport with Administrators and Depositaries to identify potential commercial opportunities and development points. • Participate in meetings with Clients to present Carne and due diligence findings. • Provide training and support to more junior members of the team. • Attend various internal meetings to provide updates on the due diligence program status. **Requirements** • Minimum 5 years' experience in fund administration, depositary or operational due diligence (with a focus on administration and depositary). • University degree (or equivalent qualification). • Experience in attending / leading operational due diligence meetings. • An understanding of the regulatory environment impacting investment funds and Management Companies/AIFMs. • Commercially minded with the ability to build rapport with service providers to identify potential commercial opportunities. • Experience in producing concise and clear reports for presentation to senior management. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Point. **Competencies** • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. • Project management, planning and organisation skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to work either independently and/or as part of a team. • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public and foster strong relationships. • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset. • Ability to analyse complex issues and a wide variety of documents (e.g., financial statements, ISAE 320 reports). **About Carne Group** Carne Group has established itself in the funds industry with $2tn in AUM supported by 700+ staff and four regulated management companies.
