Job Description

Commercial Finance Business Partner: Lead a team in management reporting, performance measurement, and financial forecasting. Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive growth and profitability. Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills required. Manage annual budgets, forecasts, and medium-term plans. Ensure effective communication and motivation of the team. Proven experience in retail and business banking, with a strong understanding of the Irish banking market. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.

Responsibilities:

* Manage the team in the planning, preparation, and analysis of the bank's annual budget, forecasts, and medium-term plan.

* Collaborate with the business to develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.

* Maintain a deep understanding of the Irish banking market, including regulatory changes, economic trends, and competitive landscape.

* Ensure the team is communicated to effectively, understand the strategy and their role in achieving it, and are fully motivated to contribute effectively on delivering the vision.

Requirements:

* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 5+ years PQE and significant experience of interpreting financial information to enable business decision making.

* Proven experience in retail and business banking, with a strong understanding of the Irish banking market.

* Demonstrated experience in business leadership, influencing and informing decision making through the delivery and interpretation of high quality value-adding financial information.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.

* Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing business challenges.

* Highly developed commercial capability and financial foresight are key characteristics, together with strong business acumen and a questioning, open, incisive intellect.

* Strong organisational and analytical capabilities with a good working knowledge of best practice financial processes, systems and proven ability to lead the development of same.

* Proven leadership skills, demonstrating the credibility to build relationships and work effectively with the Group Executive Committee, Senior Management, and wider key Internal and External Stakeholders to deliver business objectives.

* Self-starter, highly motivated with the ability to work on own initiative.

* Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

* Ambitious with an ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

* Previous experience working with planning tools desired, such as Anaplan, for forecasting and strategic analysis.

* SQL and financial modelling experience.
