Pinterest is seeking an engineering manager to lead our Security Privacy Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing privacy programs to safeguard Pinterest products and assets.
**Responsibilities:** * Work closely with other leaders in the company to ensure products are designed with privacy in mind. * Define and articulate a clear vision for privacy, and influence leaders across all of Pinterest to adopt a balanced view of product and privacy goals in overall decision-making. * Provide technical leadership to the team in designing and implementing algorithms and solutions to help enforce privacy practices with consistency and efficiency, at scale. * Lead, manage, grow and build the team by identifying, recruiting, and supporting privacy engineers at all levels. **Requirements:** * 3+ years of experience in privacy engineering. * Effective career coach with multiple years of experience in people management. * Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines. * Experience communicating highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience. * Software development knowledge and skills in Python, Javascript or Java. **About PinFlex:** PinFlex is a flexible approach to living and working at Pinterest.
