We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Security Privacy Engineering team at Pinterest, a company that helps people find inspiration and create a life they love.
**Job Summary:** Pinterest is looking for a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our Security Privacy Engineering team, responsible for developing and implementing privacy programs to safeguard our products and assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate privacy risks in products, ensuring compliance with privacy policies and standards.
- Provide technical leadership to the team in designing and implementing algorithms and solutions to enforce privacy practices with consistency and efficiency, at scale.
- Lead, manage, grow and build the team by identifying, recruiting, and supporting privacy engineers at all levels.
**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of experience in privacy engineering.
- Effective career coaching and people management experience.
- Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
- Experience communicating highly technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Software development knowledge and skills in Python, Javascript or Java.
