Manager - Community Hubs / Day Services Permanent Positions (39 hour working week) North Cork (Fermoy) Cork City Salary scale Workshop Manager as per The Department of Health & Children Consolidated Scales The successful applicant will be required to work in progressive and dynamic environment supporting people with an intellectual disability and/or autism. He/She will have responsibility for leading teams within educational day services, as well as service development, transformation and improvements in line with New Directions standards. Requirements: Be person centred and hold high expectations for individuals we support to live a meaningful life within their chosen community in line with the UNCRPD and the ADMA A relevant third level qualification Not less than five years relevant experience in the area of health or social care Demonstrate an ability to take a human rights-based approach in service provision Understand how a person who communicates differently can still make decisions and have a choice and control over their lives Knowledge of QQI quality assurance and programme development Frameworks A full drivers licence Be computer literate A comprehensive knowledge of New Directions standards Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, including leadership and team working An ability to organise, manage and motivate people and to liaise with Parents/Families and Stakeholders Be adaptable and flexible in their approach to the working environment Previous supervisory / management experience desirable What we offer: Salary in line with the HSE consolidated pay scales Opportunities for professional development and career growth A flexible and supportive work environment Membership of the Single Public Service Pension Scheme An opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives Informal enquiries may be made to Leanne Moloney, Regional Manager on .
