We are seeking a skilled audit professional to join our team in Grant Thornton, a global network of over 68,000 people. As a trusted advisor, you will lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget. You will oversee the preparation of audit plans, risk assessments, and audit programs tailored to each client's needs, supervise and mentor audit staff, and build strong relationships with clients. Key responsibilities include leading audit engagements, preparing audit plans and programs, supervising staff, and maintaining client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in Irish GAAP and auditing standards, with IFRS experience an advantage. Electronic auditing experience, portfolio management skills, and commercial awareness are also essential. Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is advantageous.
