Manager -Management Accountant Position Description This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the finance function of a leading Manufacturing company in Galway. General Responsibilities: Provide support and mentoring to the team. Set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to cost management and inventory. Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with team members to provide guidance and feedback. Coordinate annual audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Commercial and Senior Leadership Team: Conduct costings, analysis, and provide ad hoc reporting to support commercial decisions and strategic planning. Standard Costing Accuracy and Rebuild: Monitor, review, and challenge changes or movements in cost drivers. Analyse actual labour and overhead costs against standard rates and assess recovery rates. Inventory Reporting and Management: Assist the team in reporting and managing work-in-progress and finished manufacturing product inventory. Identify and address stock aging issues, driving process improvements where necessary. Candidate Background Ideal candidate will have the following background: Bachelors degree and accounting or finance experience. Qualified ACA/CPA, CIMA or ACCA with post qualification experience.- 5+ years PQE. About our Client Our client is a leading Manufacturing company in Galway. Remuneration Package will be competitive.
