Seeking a Risk Management professional with a strong background in the financial services industry to assist in the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide risk management program.

Manager, Risk Management - Dublin

This position reports to the WUPSIL Director of Risk for the Enterprise Risk Management function and will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of an enterprise-wide risk management program including risk identification, analysis, mitigation, tracking, and reporting to executive management and the Board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior management in development, communication, and ongoing improvement of the Company's Enterprise Risk Management program.
  • Work directly with various business units and functions to identify and report potential risks and opportunities that exist within the Company's operating environment.
  • Develop and maintain a Global Risk Register and a summary of the organization's enterprise (incl. environmental, financial, and conduct) risks and how they are being managed.
  • Facilitate and support enterprise risk assessments and studies, providing research, analysis, advice, and other inputs as required.
  • Establish and implement a consistent set of key risk indicators/metrics by which enterprise risks can be tracked, monitored, assessed, and measured.
  • Analyze KRI information to proactively identify risks and trends that require Executive Team's attention.
  • Manage the development, enhancement, and periodic review and approval process for Risk Management related Charters.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders within the first, second, and third lines of defense, and drive agreement on actions to control and mitigate identified risks.
  • Support development and creation of regular and ad hoc reporting and readouts to senior leadership (key risk indicators, scenario analysis, etc.).
  • Plan and facilitate risk workshops with middle, senior, and executive management, where necessary.
  • Assist senior management in identification of emerging risks, ensuring an effective risk management framework, and helping to influence the firm's risk culture.
  • Support identification, design, and implementation of Integrated Risk Management tools to allow for a consolidated view of risk throughout the organization.
  • Support establishment and evolution of the Enterprise Risk Champions Network by preparing risk management training material, and conducting risk interviews with the Risk Champions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or Business Administration.
  • Experience in risk management within the financial services industry.
  • Proven expertise in operational risk, compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
