**Managing Quantity Surveyor Opportunity** A rapidly expanding contractor in Galway seeks an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial functions and manage projects across various sectors. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead commercially and have full accountability for projects, including pre and post-contract commercial functions and contract reporting * Manage subcontract packages, oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers, and consulting * Prepare cost/value reconciliation reports accurately * Manage standard construction contract forms, including variations and final account agreements * Supervise and manage accurate and timely project delivery reporting * Ensure subcontract orders are prepared in accordance with company procedures * Attend meetings with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and specialist subcontractors **Requirements:** * Quantity Surveying Degree or similar with 5+ years post-graduate experience * Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously * Significant experience in main contracting market * Experience managing subcontract accounts * Experience working with PWC form of contract * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail * Proficient in Excel and Cubit * Methodical, conscientious, and organized, with a focus on delivering high standards **Skills:** * Quantity Surveying * Cost Management * Estimating * Tender * Commercial Manager
