Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer role at Medtronic, responsible for maintaining and improving manufacturing processes to deliver high-quality products.
A Day in the Life:
- Troubleshoot manufacturing/equipment issues and provide technical solutions using structured problem solving.
- Provide engineering support to operations, driving yield, analyzing and reducing critical defects, and improving cycle times.
- Minimize equipment downtime and ensure process improvements are implemented based on trends and quality actions.
- Work individually or as part of a team on various process improvement projects and support NCMR investigations.
- Provide clear and accurate handover updates to ensure efficient issue resolution.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of Level 7 degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a Manufacturing/Engineering operations environment.
- Strong Technical Engineering knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of statistical tools and ability to work across functions.
- Agile MAP and SAP experience an advantage.
