**Manufacturing Engineer** **Key Responsibilities:** * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with non-conforming materials, customer complaints, and inefficient processes. * Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity. * Mentor technicians and operators to drive improvements and ensure effective lean manufacturing practices. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and layouts. * Ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements. * Identify and implement technical improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste. * Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, or 5+ years of experience in a process assembly technician role in a medical device environment. * Lean Systems Green Belt (LSGB) or Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) certification desirable. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to mentor and train others. * Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with quality management systems and regulatory requirements. **Key Skills:** * Process improvement and lean manufacturing * Quality management systems and regulatory compliance * Technical problem-solving and analytical skills * Collaboration and communication skills * Leadership and mentoring skills **About the Company:** Vista Med is a leading manufacturer of medical devices, committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.
