```html Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a flair for optimising production processes and interacting with global suppliers? We are looking for you to join a growing US medical device start-up based in Galway. This role involves extensive global supplier interaction and you will be primarily desk-based operating under a hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities: Process Optimisation: Analyse and enhance manufacturing processes to improve quality, cost, and productivity. Troubleshoot Production Issues: Identify, address, and resolve production challenges, implementing corrective actions as needed. Technical Support: Provide expert guidance on manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. Process Validation: Develop, execute, and review process validation protocols and reports. Implement Changes: Evaluate and implement process changes to meet production goals and improve efficiency. Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation related to manufacturing processes and quality control measures. Project Management: Manage and support engineering projects from inception through to completion. Supplier Coordination: Support the identification and integration of second-source suppliers for critical components. Requirements: Education: Degree in a Technical Discipline: Engineering, Science, Biomedical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing engineering role, ideally within the medical device or other highly regulated industries. Process Validation Techniques: Proven experience with process validation techniques. Project Management: Strong ability to manage and oversee technical projects. Problem-Solving and Data Analysis: Expertise in process improvement, problem-solving, and data analysis. Industry Practices: Familiarity with industry practices, techniques, and standards. Preferred but not Essential: Electronic Assembly: Experience in electronic assembly. Six Sigma Training: Certification or training in Six Sigma. SolidWorks Proficiency: Proficiency in SolidWorks.
