Manufacturing Engineer Position: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Swords, Dublin Join my client as a Manufacturing Engineer and contribute to the next generation of medical technologies in a challenging and rewarding environment. Your Responsibilities: Provide technical support for the manufacturing and testing of medical devices in a regulated, high-complexity, low-volume environment. Deliver technical solutions to enhance product reliability and process capabilities. Support engineering change processes, design transfers, and the optimization of part designs and manufacturing technologies. Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing operations, quality, and procurement teams to improve products and supply chains. Manage product and process change activities, including technology transfers, ensuring a continuous supply. Optimize complex processes to improve performance and efficiency. Lead projects aimed at continuous improvement, leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and A3 Problem Solving Principles. What You Bring: A blend of technical, design, and manufacturing expertise, particularly in fast-paced and dynamic environments. Strong understanding of supplier manufacturing technologies, including metal fabrication, machining, casting, plastic molding, PCBAs, cables, optics, and fluidics. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional and cross-site product optimization projects. Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to process and analyze large datasets for decision-making. An interest in data visualization and analytics. Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills. Self-directed, goal-oriented, and capable of prioritizing workloads in an Agile environment.
