Job Description
Manufacturing Engineer role at a global leader in specialist driveline systems for off-road vehicles, requiring expertise in Vehicle Dynamics, Independent Suspension, and Axle systems.
Timoney, a 50-year-old Irish company, is expanding its team due to exciting projects on Electric & Hybrid technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute tasks within designated areas, overseeing team performance.
- Engage in cross-functional teams and value stream initiatives to align with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of information and resolution of queries.
- Conduct day-to-day engineering functions, including process characterization, validations, and problem-solving.
- Upgrade existing and develop new equipment and processes, including tooling and fixtures.
- Validate and optimize manufacturing processes and manage vendors for equipment procurement.
- Generate and maintain quality documentation in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Review incoming and outgoing QA documentation to ensure components comply to company standards.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to Quality and EHS policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Professional Skills/Knowledge:
- Third-level relevant Engineering Degree.
- Experience with ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Basic project management skills.
- Genuine interest in Engineering.
- Strong technical aptitude, ability to apply structured problem-solving techniques, and Lean Principles.
- Proficient in the use of technical drawing software (Solid Works).
