Manufacturing Engineer role at Arrabawn Co-op's Ingredients Manufacturing Division involves managing maintenance and engineering activities to optimize facility performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting operations and maintenance requirements across the site
- Executing maintenance procedures in line with site SOP's
- Attending to breakdowns and raising corrective maintenance tasks
- Managing vendors and services delivered on site
- Day-to-day preventative maintenance of plants, machinery, and equipment
- Maintaining the site's CMMS system
- Completing documentation for maintenance procedures
- Maintaining company assets in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
- Electrical and mechanical process and installation troubleshooting
- Managing site calibrations and audit certification requirements
- Adhering to site safety policies and quality standards
Requirements:
- Proven track record of managing a maintenance/engineering function
- Third-level engineering degree in process, mechanical, electrical, or similar discipline
- Strong people management, problem-solving, planning, organizing, and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to achieve results through people
- IT literacy and fluency in English written and oral
- Food industry experience and knowledge of manufacturing in the dairy industry
- Proven experience, minimum of 3 to 4 years
